 Welcome to DEEP GREEN

(Des Plaines Environmental and Energy Program)

 

DEEP GREEN promotes environmental efficiency in the City of Des Plaines. The committee was formed by former Mayor Tony Arredia and is chaired by 6th Ward Alderman Mark Walsten. We work with city government, local businesses and educational institutions to develop projects to make efficient use of natural resources.

The Bears Are Still Playing!!!!! Relive the Victory!

 

Des Plaines 6th Ward Alderman Mark Walsten and members of Des Plaines DEEP GREEN invite everyone to attend Super Bowl XX, a special showing of the 1985-86 Chicago Bears vs the New England Patriots Game, 2PM, Sunday, January 29, 2012, at the Des Plaines Theater,1476 Miner St.  There is a $10 Donation (tax deductible).  Beer will be available for purchase.  Tickets are available at the door or at www.desplainestheatre.com .

 

There will be $1000 In Prizes Including a HDTV! The event is being sponsored By Lee St. Sports Bar & Games, 1122 Lee St. Des Plaines, 60016.
